Fluid Bed Dryer/ Fluidized bed dryer:
Fluidized bed dryer (also called fluid bed dryer) is a kind of equipment used extensively in the pharmaceutical industries to reduce the moisture content of pharmaceutical powder and granules Drying is yew much important for wet granules for compression into the tablet and for modifying the characteristics of viscous and sticky materials. Diving is commonly the It step in unit process before compression into tablet form and packaging.

Principle:
Fluidized bed dryer is better known by name because hot air (gas) or ambient air is allowed to flow upward at high pressure through a perforated bottom of vessel containing bed of particulate solids or wet granules. The velocity of hitt air is more than the settling velocity of the granules/particles by which they remain suspended in stream of hot air. This condition is called fluidized state. Construction:

Working :
The material to be dried is placed in detachable vessel. bottom of the dryer. The air is introduced from below through the prefilter, which is heated by means of heaters installed therein. Simultaneously fan is also allowed to work. As the velocity of air is increased, the bed begins to expand and further increase causes turbulent motion of particles called fluidization.
T. granules/particles remain suspended in air stream. Later on, a state of pressure is reached at which frictional drag on the granules/particles is equal to the force of gravity. T. particles rise in stream of air due to high velocity of gas, this condition is called fluidised state.

Potocone Vacuum Dryer (PCVD) Rotocone Vacuum Dryer is suitable for drying of materials which cannot resist high temperature, materials which are easily oxidized, volatile materials which should be retrieved, materials that are strong irritants and poisonous in nature. The Rotocone Vacuum Dryer with improved technology integrates during operation under vacuum.
The Rotocone Vacuum Dryer facilitates enhanced drying efficiency, Low temperature operation and economy of process by total solvent recovery. It helps cGMP base working by achieving optimum dust control, while offering advantages of efficient charging and discharging of materials. The drying unit equipped with Lump breakers initially breaks Large Lumps and subsequently powders them (in a single cone). The rotary action of the dryer together with mechanical action of the breakers cuts down drying time and gives a Lump-free product.

    Vacuum Tray Dryer works under vacuum conditions on the conduction principle. Inside the dryer are several shelves having trays on which the products are placed. Top most shelf is a dummy shelf placed there to ensure proper heating and to prevent the dried powder from escaping into the solvent extraction system. Shelves are constructed hollow with baffles cum stiffeners placed in between shelves. Every shelf has an inlet and outlet nozzle and is connected to an inlet and outlet header through these nozzles.We are a vacuum tray dryer manufacturer and exporter.

If a fan is fitted to the oven the forced hot air is circulated which helps in increasing the heat transfer and also in reducing he Local vlour concentrations. The material. to be dried is spread on the tiers of the trays. The trays used have said, perforated or wire mesh bottoms. In a modern tray dryers a uniform temperature a. air is maintained by the use of a well insulated cabinet with strategically pieced fans and heating coil,. There is an alternate arrangement of the sheleves so that air can flow uniformly without any obstructions. Heater is fixed in such a way that the air is reheated before passing over each shelf. When the air passes over each shelf a certain amount a heat is given up to provide Latent heat of vaporisation.     • Temperature Control: Temp control system is done by electronic digital temp controller fitted in the control panel. The temp control in the dryer is fully automatic.
    • Trays: Trays are available in 5.5. 304/ 316. ALL trays are fully die pressed and with coved corners. Trays are buffed to mirror finish. Trays are also available in aluminium / Polypropylenes / FRP/ M.S. galvanized as per client requirements.
    • Trolley: Trolley is provided in the dryers to accommodate trays in it. Trolley trucks are used to load and unload the trays into the dryer.
    • Control Panel: Automatic Control panel is fitted on the side of the dryer. If consists of Starters, contactors, safety relays, ckt breakers, indicating lamps, push buttons, timers, controllers etc.
